前幾天五色鳥寶寶頑皮地飛出巢外，跳到旁邊的樹上。媽媽回家後發現寶寶不在，看起來有點疑惑，在樹洞鑽進鑽出，又在樹洞外兩側啄了幾下。最後飛到隔壁的樹上去找自己的孩子。後來有人拍到成鳥在樹上餵食小鳥的照片，非常漂亮。
隔天小鳥都離巢後，父親發現一隻樹鵲在同一棵樹上休憩。我是第一次知道樹鵲這種鳥，一雙銳利的眼睛加上咖啡色灰色交織的羽毛，看起來很有氣勢。
下午父親聽到窗外有鳥叫聲，發現了有隻迷路的小雛鳥停在陽台上啁啾，呼喚著成鳥。
透過最近的觀察，發現小鳥可以飛的時候，好像都會調皮亂跑，又無法靠自己的力量回家。
父母找到孩子後，沒有責備孩子，而是在一旁守護，繼續照顧，然後教小孩子飛翔，直到孩子獨立。從動物身上也感受到深情與智慧呢。
Observing Some Five-coloured Taiwan Barbet Birds: A Follow-up
A few days ago, a naughty five-coloured Taiwan barbet fledgling flew out of its nest, jumping to a true nearby tree.When the adult bird returned to its nest and found its child missing it seemed to be confused.It went in and out of a tree hole, peeking from the edges of that hole.Finally, it found the fledging on the next tree. Some people took beautiful picture of the fledging being fed by its parents.
A day after when all the fledgling left the nest, my father found a gray treepie perched within the same tree. This was my first time to learn about this bird species. This treepie looked stately with a pair of sharp eyes and mix of gray and brown plump.
On the same day, my father heard twittering and found a small fledgling standing on our balcony and calling the adult birds.
According to the recent observation, fledglings always want to jump outside when they can fly, but don’t have the ability to return to their nest. When bird parents found their children, they won’t blame them but accompany, continue to take of them, and teach their children how to fly until they are independent.
I learn about deep love and wisdom from animals.
五色鳥観察記とその後
前日、五色鳥のやんちゃ雛は巣からそばの木に飛び出た。親鳥は戻って雛がいないことに気が付くと、おかしいと思う様子だった。木の穴に入ったり出たりして、穴の両端をついばみ、そばの木に飛んで、雛を探してきた。それから、ある人は木で親鳥がは雛に餌を食べさせている姿を写真に撮っていた。とても綺麗な写真だと思う。
五色鳥の雛が巣を離れたあと、父は一羽のタイワンオナガが同じの木にとまっているのを見つけた。きりっとした目で、灰色や茶色を織り交ぜ、堂々としていた。
翌日、父は鳥の鳴き声を聞いた。一羽のひなはバルコニーでチュンチュンと鳴き親を呼んでいるようだった。
最近の観察による、どの雛でも、一旦飛べるようになるといつも外に出たがるけど、家に戻れないみたいだ。
親鳥は子供を見つけたら、責めることはなく、ただ傍に付き添ったり、世話をし続けたり、飛び方を教えたりする。
動物の行動から、親の深い愛情と知恵を勉強できた。
