最近看完一部很有趣的台灣電視劇叫「我的婆婆怎麼那麼可愛」，「婆婆」指的是丈夫之母親，這是齣溫馨的家庭喜劇，用有趣的方式表達了家庭複雜的情感與問題。比如說兒女雖然已經長大成人，面對自己的人生課題時，仍會想依賴自己的母親，期待母親能提供金錢的援助，而長輩明知道給錢不能解決問題，卻還是捨不得自己的孩子受苦。女主角婆婆演得很有層次，既逗趣搞笑又有細膩深情。

「我的婆婆怎麼那麼可愛」的背景設定在賣「漢餅」(中式糕點)的店家，暗示著可能被時代淹沒的上一代如何努力找到一席之地。當與年輕人的想法激盪融合時，原本習以為常傳統的事物變得既新鮮又充滿魅力。

劇中展現各式各樣的漢餅，有不少是熟悉的味道，卻不知道這些糕點的做法及代表的涵意，看了這部劇，不僅增長見聞，更讓人食指大動，想回味記憶中的味道。

最近、「我的婆婆怎麼那麼可愛」（私のおばあちゃんはなんて可愛いんだろう）という台湾のドラマを観ました。ここでの「婆婆（おばあちゃん）」とは夫の母です。このドラマは温かくて面白い家庭コメディで、家族での複雑な感情や問題を表現しています。例えば、婆婆の子供はもう大人ですが、自分たちの人生の課題に直面すると、まだ母親を頼りにして、お金の援助を期待します。一方、親はお金をあげても問題を解決できないことが分かっていても、自分の子供たちが苦しむのを黙って見過ごすこともできません。

主人公のおばあちゃんの演技は、面白くて笑えるだけではなく、繊細で深い感情を上手く表現しています。

「我的婆婆怎麼那麼可愛」（私のおばあちゃんはなんて可愛いんだろう）の物語の舞台は「漢餅」（中国の伝統的な焼きお菓子）を販売する店です。時代の波に呑まれ前の世代のおばあちゃんがどのように努力して小さな場所を探し出したかを暗示しています。若者たちのアイデアを融合すると、以前は当たり前だと思われた伝統的なことが斬新で魅力的に変わります。

ドラマでは様々な種類の漢餅が登場し、大部分は馴染んでいる味ですが、これらのお菓子の作り方や象徴する意味は知りませんでした。このドラマのおかげで、私たちは知識を増やすだけではなく、食欲をそそられて、記憶の中の味を楽しみたいです。

Recently, I watched a Taiwanese drama titled “我的婆婆怎麼那麼可愛 (My mother- in-law is so adorable)”. Here’s “婆婆” refers to the husband’s mother. The drama is a heartwarming and amusing family comedy which portrays some of the complex emotions and issues within a family. For example, even though the children of the grandmother have grown up, they still rely on and expect financial support for their mother when facing challenges in their lives. On the other hand, even the parents understand that giving money is not a good way to solve problems, they can’t bear to see their children suffer. The performance of the protagonist’s grandmother was not only entertaining and humorous, but it also delicately conveyed profound affections.

The story of ““我的婆婆怎麼那麼可愛 (My mother- in-law is so adorable)”is set a shop that sells traditional Chinese pastries known as “漢餅(Chinese baked sweets).” It implies how previous generation of the mother-in-law, almost engulfed by the currents of time, strives to find her own place. When she accepted the new ideas from the younger generation, the traditional things which we may take for granted take on a fresh and appealing transformation. 

Various Chinese baked sweets were displayed in the drama, and most of them are familiar. However, I didn’t know how to make those sweets and the symbolic meanings of them. Thanks to this drama, not only expands my knowledge, but also provokes my appetite which urge me to savour the taste of memory.
